Great Bend Riverside Hike & Bike Path

The Riverside Hike and Bike Path was envisioned as a multi-phase project that accompanied the Great Bend Flood Control Project along the Arkansas River and the construction of the new "Front Door" Community Center. Phase 1 of the project has been completed and the path begins at the Front Door at 10th & Hubbard. This facility serves as a welcome portal for new citizens to the community giving them assistance in connecting all necessary utilities. The facility also aids citizens by providing community information, a childcare facility, public access to computers, additional meeting space for community groups, and a high tech educational facility for community training. |
