Becoming A Mom

Barton County Health Department offers Becoming a Mom classes to teach expecting participants about pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborn care.  These classes are offered quarterly at the Health Department with sessions beginning in January, April, July and October.  Each session has 6 weekly classes from 1:30 to 3:30 on Tuesday afternoons. Classes are open to the expecting mom as well as her support person.  We ask those interested to register by calling the Health Department at 620-793-1909 to ensure we have adequate materials for all who attend.
