Barton County Zoning Regulations - Version II

The Barton County Commission adopted Version II of the Barton County Zoning Regulations on January 28, 2013 after a four year comprehensive review of the previous regulations that were adopted in June 2000. Version II was designed to be user friendly and to allow for more efficient administration by Barton County staff. Copies of these regulations are available for review at every library in the County, all the Incorporated City offices have a copy, the Realtor's and Surveyors in Barton County were provided with copies, many departments within Barton County and now on line.

The purpose of the Zoning Regulations is to conserve and protect property values throughout Barton County through restrictions placed on the use of buildings and land for dwellings, business, industry, conservation and other purposes.
