.......Road Closure on East Barton County Rd
A portion of E. Barton County Rd was closed on April 16th and will remain closed for approximately 5-6 months. L&M Contractors, Inc. of Great Bend will be replacing a county bridge approximately 1 mile east of Great Bend and the road will be closed at the project site. Signing and barricades have been placed at the intersection of E. Barton County Rd and US-56 Highway as well as at the E. Barton County Rd intersection with SE 40 Ave. Local traffic will be able to access residences and businesses but no traffic will be allowed through the bridge construction area.
